Boeing Engineering & Technology Innovation – META (Middle East, Türkiye, Africa) is looking for a Systems Modeling & Simulation Engineer | Research with aircraft systems engineering exposure and modeling & simulation expertise. The successful candidate will work on researching & developing technology and/or products for Boeing business units. The ideal candidate would have a proven track record of research experience, systems engineering exposure, and solid scientific programming and modeling expertise.
The position will be based out of Teknopark , Pendik/İstanbul, Türkiye.
Position Responsibilities:
Be curious, following tech development trends, and take initiatives on researching & developing practical applications to business
Participate in agile activities including daily scrums, and planning
Adhere to team development standards for modeling & simulation processes, tools and metrics
Ability to work in an international team environment - on-site/flexible working schema
Support the Product Owner and Solution Architect to ensure a high-quality technology / product delivery to the end-user
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)
Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science and 4+ years of related work experience OR Bachelor’s Degree and 4+ years of directly related work experience OR 5+ years of related, relevant experience
Being a motivated, self-driven researcher that takes initiatives
Low-level Programming experience (Java, C/C++)
International, multi-cultural, diverse team player
Professional industrial and/or R&D experience
Aircraft Systems Engineering (Architecting, Designing, Modeling, Testing and Certification)
Multiple scientific programing languages: Python, MATLAB, Modelica
Exposure to FMI/FMU
DevOps experience (CI/CD)
Experience with Docker
Experience with SysML/UML.
Knowledge of DO-178C/DO-331
Knowledge of ARP4754
(Co-)Authored publications (academic papers, patents etc.)
Graduate degrees (Masters or PhD)
Additional Information:
This requisition is for an international, locally hired position in Istanbul, Türkiye. Benefits and pay are determined at the local level and are not part of Boeing U.S.-based payroll and will commensurate with experience and qualifications and in accordance with applicable Türkiye law. Employment is subject to the candidate's ability to satisfy all Türkiye labor and immigration formalities.
